On April 1, the spring pruning works, which lasted 16 days, ended in Yerevan. They were carried out in 55 streets and avenues, 131 yards and 15 parks. This was stated by Armen Begoyan, director of "Greening and Environmental Protection" JSC, during a meeting held in Yerevan City Hall on April 3.
"Mainly pruning of sycamore trees was carried out, most of which had not undergone sanitary pruning since 1986. During pruning, attention was paid to the traffic signs, the removal of branches covering the night lighting lamps," Armen Begoyan noted.
